The BMW TS Safari will be heading to the NSW High Country from Windsor – Kingscliff from September 29th to October 4th in 2019.
An awesome opportunity to tour some of Australia’s best motorcycling roads and have a blast with a great group of people, you can even bring a pillion along for the journey!
TS stands for Touren Sport and TS Safari translates to a 5 day sports touring ride on tarmac. This is the chance for riders on any model of BMW Motorcycle that enjoy riding on the road to enjoy an amazing week of riding incredible roads with a great bunch of people. The social aspect of the TS Safari is a key factor that keeps riders returning year after year, pillions are also encouraged to join us to share the BMW Safari experience with a partner.

PRE SAFARI INFORMATION GUIDE
Safari sign in will be held in Windsor, NSW Sunday 29th September from 3pm at the Crowne Plaza Hawksbury Valley. The rider briefing and Safari Welcome Dinner will follow.
GETTING TO AND FROM THE EVENT

Option B: Bike transport is available at an additional cost, you will be able to book this via the Transport form which will be sent to you after you register.
The riding finishes at Kingscliff, NSW on Friday the 4th of October 2019. That is followed by the post event dinner and your final nights accommodation where you will check out on Saturday 5th of October. There will also be bike transport available post event that can be booked when you complete the Transport form.
Bike transport can be booked when you complete the Transport form. Bike transport is available for participants that want to have their bike transported from their local dealer to the start and/or back to their dealer following the conclusion of the event. Bike collection prior to the event and bike drop off following the event, must be completed during normal business hours. Bikes may be required for transport up to 2 weeks prior to the event and similarly returned up to two weeks after the end of the event. Specific dates will be emailed to participants who have booked bike transport.
PRE-SAFARI BIKE INSPECTION
The Safari Ready motorcycle inspection is designed to ensure that your motorcycle is good to go for a week long BMW Safari ride. Every bike that passes a Safari Ready inspection is eligible for technical support during the event. The BMW Safari Ready inspection is free and available from all authorised BMW Motorrad dealers. A date window will be provided shortly. If you don’t live close to an authorised BMW Motorrad dealer, we suggest that you have your bike checked at your own cost by a credible dealership to ensure that you are Safari ready.
There is tyre support at the BMW TS Safari to assist with any tyre related issues. There will be limited tyres carried on the event for unexpected tyre failures. We recommend starting the event with new or near new tyres fitted to your motorcycle to decrease the chance of any tyre issues.
The TS Safari Accommodation is of 4-5 star standard, including stays at Crowne Plaza and Peppers Hotels. The first night of included accommodation is Sunday 29th September and the final night of included accommodation is Saturday 4th October. Two weeks prior to the commencement of the Safari you will receive an email listing your accommodation itinerary which will specify the details of your allocated accommodation throughout the week. Please have your itinerary available when you reach your destination each day. Print it out and take a copy or have it available on your phone for reference.
A luggage truck is provided for any participants that would prefer to have their luggage carried each day. Carrying of your own luggage on your motorcycle is permitted at TS Safari events. No hard panniers will be transported and all luggage should be restricted to one 55L soft bag per person. Bags are stacked in the back of a truck and no responsibility will be taken for any damage to luggage. The luggage truck will be located at a central location each afternoon as indicated on the daily route sheet. All luggage will need to be dropped off at the truck before you depart on your ride each day. Participants who are staying in accommodation away from this central luggage point will need to transport their luggage by bike at the start and end of the day as required.
Two lead riders head out in the morning to mark the course. The route arrows are the main source of navigation on the ride, followed by route sheets and then GPS guidance. Please note that arrows take priority in navigation. Our lead riders may alter the route due to road hazards or weather conditions. GPS files will also be available as a guide to navigate the route.
Riding Gear: It is a condition of entry that Riders at all times during the Safari use adequate safety equipment and appropriate riding gear.
In the unfortunate circumstance that you need to withdraw from the Event, you can do this at any time by notifying the Event Provider in writing by email to email@example.com Cancellation fees apply and can be found in the Event T’s & C’s.
It is recommended that you protect yourself with appropriate insurance cover prior to your event participation. This may be very helpful in the unfortunate circumstance of your travel plans changing for any reason. Insurance types to consider are Roadside Assistance Cover, Full Comprehensive Motorcycle Insurance and Domestic Travel Insurance.
